Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of skills.aajconsult.com (the “Site”), operated by Aaj LLC (“AAJ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a California limited liability company founded by Saroj Jha and based in California, United States, under the brand AAJ. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About the Service

AAJ Marketing Skills is a free, open-source catalog of marketing “skills” — structured instructions and tools that AI coding agents (such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, and Cline) can install and run. The Site lets you browse, search, and filter the catalog, view individual skills, and submit examples.

2. The skills and the open-source license

The skills, their code, and related resources are distributed as open source under the MIT License, available in our public repository at github.com/sarojkjha/aaj-marketing-skills.

  • Your use of the skills themselves is governed by the MIT License, not by these Terms. The MIT License grants you broad rights to use, copy, modify, and distribute the skills, subject to its conditions (including the requirement to retain the copyright and license notice), and provides them “as is” without warranty.
  • These Terms govern your use of this Site (the catalog, search, submission form, and related content).

If there is any conflict between these Terms and the MIT License regarding the skills, the MIT License controls for the skills.

3. Eligibility

You may use the Site only if you can form a binding contract with us and are not barred from doing so under applicable law. The Site is intended for professional use and is not directed to children (see Section 12 of our Privacy Policy).

4. Acceptable use

When using the Site, you agree not to:

  • use it for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, or disrupt the Site, its servers, or its security;
  • scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content in a manner that burdens or harms the Site or its infrastructure;
  • introduce malware or attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site without our written permission;
  • misrepresent your affiliation with AAJ or impersonate any person or entity; or
  • use the Site’s content, branding, or design in a way that infringes our or others’ rights.

5. Your submissions and contributions

If you submit an example, idea, or other content through the Site (a “Submission”):

  • You represent that the Submission is yours to share, does not infringe anyone’s rights, contains no confidential information, and is not misleading or unlawful.
  • You grant AAJ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display the Submission in connection with the Site and the skills catalog — including, where relevant, under the project’s open-source (MIT) license.
  • We are not obligated to use, publish, or retain any Submission, and may remove it at any time.
  • Do not submit anything you wish to keep private or proprietary.

6. Intellectual property and trademarks

Except for the skills (which are MIT-licensed) and your Submissions, all content on the Site — including text, design, layout, graphics, and the AAJ name, logo, and brand — is owned by Aaj LLC or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the AAJ name, logo, or branding without our prior written permission. The MIT License covers the skills’ code, not the AAJ brand or this Site’s design.

7. Third-party services and dependencies

The skills are designed to run inside third-party AI agents and tools and may be distributed via npm, GitHub, and similar services. Your use of those tools and services is governed by their terms and policies, not ours. AAJ does not control and is not responsible for third-party tools, their availability, or the results they produce.

8. Availability and changes

The Site and catalog are provided on an evolving basis. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site — including individual skills — at any time, without liability to you.

9. No professional advice; no reliance

This is important. The skills, the Site, and any output produced by running the skills are provided for informational and productivity purposes only. They are not professional advice — marketing, financial, legal, tax, or otherwise — and do not create any advisory or fiduciary relationship.

  • Outputs generated by AI agents (including budgets, calculations, scores, audits, and recommendations) may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation.
  • You are responsible for independently reviewing and verifying any output before relying on it or making business decisions.
  • AAJ is not liable for actions you take based on the skills or their output.

10. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND THE SKILLS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. AAJ DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AAJ AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE OR THE SKILLS. BECAUSE THE SITE AND SKILLS ARE PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, TO THE EXTENT AAJ IS FOUND LIABLE, ITS TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED USD 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AAJ and its owners, employees, and contributors from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site, your Submissions, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time if you violate these Terms or for any other reason, without notice or liability. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 6, 9–12, and 15) will survive.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

16. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and (for the skills) the MIT License, are the entire agreement between you and AAJ regarding the Site. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
