This Privacy Policy explains how Aaj LLC (“AAJ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit skills.aajconsult.com (the “Site”), our open-source catalog of marketing skills for AI coding agents.
We’ve tried to keep this readable. If anything is unclear, contact us at saroj@aajconsult.com.
1. Who we are
The Site is operated by Aaj LLC, a California limited liability company founded by Saroj Jha and based in California, United States, under the brand AAJ.
For any privacy question or request, reach us at:
- Email: saroj@aajconsult.com
- Phone: +1‑510‑516‑6170
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the skills.aajconsult.com website only. It does not cover:
- Your AI agent or coding tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, or Cline). When you install and run our skills, they run inside your own tools and environment. We do not receive your prompts, your code, or the output those tools generate.
- Our main consultancy site, aajconsult.com, or our GitHub repository, which are governed by their own terms and the policies of their providers (e.g., GitHub).
3. Information we collect
We collect very little, and only what’s needed to run the Site.
a. Information you choose to give us
- Newsletter signup. If you subscribe, we collect your email address.
- “Submit an example” form. If you submit a skill example, we collect the information you enter — typically the relevant skill, your scenario, your result/output, and any optional name, link, or email you choose to include.
b. Information collected automatically
- Server and log data. Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically log technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and timestamps, for security and reliability.
- Cookies and similar technologies. See Section 6.
- Analytics. As on our main site, aajconsult.com, this Site uses Google Tag Manager to manage measurement tags, including Google Analytics. These tools use cookies and similar technologies to collect aggregated, pseudonymized information about how visitors use the Site — such as pages viewed, time on page, device and browser type, referring source, and an approximate location derived from your IP address — which we use to understand and improve the Site.
c. What we do not collect
- We do not require an account to browse, search, or install skills.
- We do not collect payment information — the Site and the skills are free.
- We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information.
4. How we use information
We use the limited information above to:
- send you our newsletter (only if you subscribed), and let you unsubscribe at any time;
- review, and where appropriate publish, examples you submit (see our Terms of Service for the contribution license);
- operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
- respond to your questions and requests; and
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
5. Legal bases for processing (EEA / UK visitors)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR / UK GDPR:
- Consent — for sending you the newsletter (you may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing) and for non-essential analytics cookies where consent is required.
- Legitimate interests — for operating, securing, and improving the Site, and for reviewing submissions, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligation — where we must process information to comply with the law.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses two kinds of cookies:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Site to function (for example, basic session and security cookies set by our hosting platform).
- Analytics cookies — set through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (the same setup as aajconsult.com) to measure and improve how the Site is used. Google Analytics typically sets cookies such as
_gaand_ga_*to distinguish users and sessions.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics specifically using Google’s opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.
7. How we share information
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the Site, and only as needed. These include:
- Website hosting and platform — Lovable, which builds and serves the Site and may process log data.
- Database and backend — Supabase, where newsletter and submission data are stored.
- Email / newsletter — subscriber emails are stored in our Supabase database, and we send the newsletter ourselves. We do not use a third-party email-marketing provider.
- Analytics — Google (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics), as described in Sections 3 and 6. Google processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy.
These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or in connection with a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition). We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above:
- Newsletter email — until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- Submissions — for as long as needed to evaluate and, if published, maintain the contribution; you may ask us to remove a submission that contains your personal information.
- Log and analytics data — retained by our providers for a limited period for security, operational, and measurement purposes.
9. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including provider-level encryption in transit and access controls on our database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International data transfers
We are based in the United States, and we and our providers may store and process information in the United States and other countries. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.
11. Your rights and choices
Everyone: You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting saroj@aajconsult.com. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you’ve given us.
EEA / UK: You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability, and you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA): If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to correct it. We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under California law, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
To exercise any right, email saroj@aajconsult.com. We will verify and respond as required by applicable law.
12. Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Third-party links and services
The Site links to third-party sites and tools — including aajconsult.com, GitHub, npm, and AI agent tools. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please review their policies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
